Mrs.Muna Rai is a General Nurse Midwife (GNM) graduated from Royal Institute of Health Sciences in the year 1999. She worked in various Hospitals for the last 19 years. She has served at various hospitals as a chief Nurse with different capacities. She has pursued BSc in Nursing and Midwifery from Faculty of Nursing and Public Health, University KGUSMB. She has attended several government funded in-country and outside country workshops, trainings, seminars in various related to health like Training of Trainers (TOT) in Infection Control and Health Care Waste Management. She is also trained on Competence Based Training (CBT) on Basic Emergency Obstetric Care. She has served as a focal person for Emergency Obstetric Neonatal Care (EmONC) and Infection control in different hospitals.
She also attended International Health Conference on Medical and Health science, Inter-personal Collaboration in Patient care. As a senior nurse, she has imparted her expertise, knowledge, skills and values to medical fraternity ceaselessly in her career, as a profession as any human being.
She has received the Fifth King’s Royal Civil Service Award (Bronze) Medal in the year 2013. Currently, she has chosen to work as a faculty in Apollo Bhutan Institute of Nursing by her educational and professional background that she holds with her long years of experience and with her managerial and leadership responsibilities.
